Comfy Beddings last forever...

Phew! What a hectic weekend! Thank god The Einstein arrived safely in KLIA last Monday. He looks a tad thinner...and what's with the shocking pink polo tee? Sigh...Here comes the revamp process yet again...wardrobe time!
Good thing he's pretty much a compliant person in terms of wardrobe matching...which is to The Mum's absolute pleasure (I'm sure her 'has-been' ambition was to be a great fashion designer ala Marc Jacob minus the lace and frills, with a more contemporary and fresh approach in colours and cuts...cheerios to u Mum!)

So last saturday, in conjuction to the announcement of our Bajet 2011, The Dad thought it would be best to allocate a certain 'Excess Budget 2010' in the attempt of transforming The Einstein into the 21st century 'Steve Jobs' ! Wuhuu! So there we went on a shopping spree for The Einstein and nevertheless, The Quad C and Muay Thai Boy tagged along, hoping to include some of their  items as well... teehee! Good for you boyz!

Whilst the Boys were shirt-hunting, The Mum and I however decided to visit our favourite department - the beddings. Its been absurd the fact that for these past few months, The Mum has completely transformed me into a bedding freak! I've been dilligently visiting bedding areas just to have a look at those beautifully woven cotton-soft and glimmering covers and sheets. Though I've actually bought ivory coloured Garcia sheets and pillow cases during the last Isetan sale, but seems that it's pretty hard to match it with pillow cases from the other brands, although they are of the same quality (or better!) Nevertheless, of course it made us worry and then came the "all new shopping spree for an all-new set of CAVELLI beddings' and that solves the mismatch problem.

Despite the many bedding sets in the market, I would normally prefer to go for Garcia, Tesutti or Cavelli. Reason being is that I'm obsessed with the beautiful embossed jacquard designs on the cottony-sateeny sheets, gives a polished, simplistic feel of understated class and elegance...no frills and fancies would be what I would normally go for (boring as it may seem). hey, i'm practical so let's just say that you don't buy bedsheets just when you have an occassion that will only make you used once, and then it gets chucked into the drawers for moths and roaches to feast and infest on. What you buy, you should make full use of it, then you'd reap the maximum benefits of it i.e good night sleep, waking up w full energy and confidence all perked up for the day...and a major nod from your loved one would be an added bonus... :)
