What's Your Flava?

Hey darls, how's ur preps so far?
Ada apa2 nak tolong?
What's ur theme colour?
Let's do a meeting! We delegate tasks!
Dah dekat dah ni? Nervous x?

Aaaaa! Those common questions that normally flood you, making you develop so much feelings all in one - stressed, appreciated, confused, unconfident, overwhelmed, thankful... Normal for fiancee-to-bes...

My recent conversation with the BF struck in this manner

So what's your baju colour?
(He can't even pronounce kurung nor kebaya..shows the amount of "care" that men put onto knowing what ladies normally wear for engagement)

It's actually a very-very light coloured kurung, with yellow strands and whitish beads, light pink pink, almost peach but not orange.
Shows how much girls pay too much emphasis on getting the colours and material all correctly described not knowing and realising, (or perhaps realise but don't care) that your other half only understands RED as RED and BLUE as BLUE, and GREEN as GREEN..so don't bother feeding them w these additional colour charts of which he just couldn't imagine, thus care less about your whimsical fancies.

What are you wearing?
Still insisting on asking (though it should be understood that he will wear the same/similar colour...that's why he's asking, idiot...)

Cream.

Cream? That'll make you look like you're already going for nikah ?!
Just a general statement

So? Takkan la I'm coming in shorts? Or, I'll wear RED then
The BF always takes it to the extreme side - Baju melayu or shorts

RED?Tapi nanti x padan?
See? The complex minds of girls (you don't really agree him wearing cream, but you don't agree him wearing a diff colour, after realising the previous choice was more sensible)

You said I look like coming for nikah?

Eyh I just said that, doesn't mean I don't like it

Fine, I'll wear RED instead.
Rebelious side of The BF gets out

Wear Cream la...please?
Realising she's wrong after questioning his decision earlier on

I'll wear RED....or I'll see how my mood goes.

Jeng jeng jeng... so now, congratulations to myself for complicating simple matters where you should have agreed in the first place rather than pointing out stupid q's of which ends up with him POSSIBLY wearing a RED baju melayu on the engagement.

So how do you actually address these small conflicts, or perhaps identify if the conflicts are worth your two cents of thought? Possibly something that I should learn along these pathways.
